Cybertooth

Cybertooth

Cybertooth is a project which helped me develop my techniques in concept art, modelization, unwrap, textures, rigging, and rendering. I wanted to push my limits by creating a finished piece from scratch that would use the knowledge I got from my bachelor’s degree in 3D Animation and Digital Design.

  • Modelisation: 3DS Max
  • UVs: 3DS Max
  • Textures: Substance Painter
  • Render and Lighting: Marmoset Toolbag 3
  • Click play and drag your mouse around inside the video to see the full 360.

  • Final product

  • During the design process, I had to find what kind of color palette I wanted to Cybertooth. These are “paintovers” realized with the blocking of the 3D models so I could explore different possibilities.

Siren’s Lullaby

Siren’s Lullaby

Roles: 3D artist (modeling, textures, UVs), Level Artist

During my studies at NAD in Montréal, I have worked on several game projects, one of them being Siren’s Lullaby, a horror game. During its production, I was a 3D artist and a level artist where I helped giving life to the level design. This project was done in collaboration with Red Barrels and Budge studios as consultants, but also with GameOn for motion capture.

This first video is a short teaser trailer, while the second video shows more gameplay.

Rocket Knight Adventure

Rocket Knight Adventure

Roles: Level Artist, 3D artist (modeling, texturing, UVs) Rocket Knight Adventure is a game level realized in 8 weeks for my Simulation of Production class. In this project, our team had to create a remake of a retro game, but in 3D. We decided to do a remake of a 1993 game called Rocket Knight Adventure. I worked as a 3D artist, but also as the level artist and texture artist.

  • Some of the assets I modelized for one of the rooms in the level. Lots of them are modular, so they can be combined together in different ways to create different possibilities with them.

Ugarte Project

Ugarte Project

Role: Lead Level Artist, 3D Artist (modeling, texturing, UVs)

The Ugarte Project is a 3D scene based on an artwork by Jean Pierre Ugarte realized in real time in Unreal Engine 4 in a team of 3. In this, I worked as a 3D and textures artist, and I was also the level artist of the project.

  • Final render of our scene in real-time in Unreal Engine 4. Since the original image from Ugarte was square, we created an extension to the environment on both sides to make it 16:9 for our final scene.

  • The same scene from a different angle showcasing the winter biome in the background.

  • The same scene from a different angle showcasing the left part of the scene.

  • The same scene from a different angle showcasing the right side of the scene.

  • Original artwork by Jean Pierre Ugarte. The project was based on this image.

Sunset Coast

Sunset Coast

Role: Level Artist, Level Designer, Lighting, FX

This project was done in a day for my advanced environment class at NAD. The whole scene was made in the software Vue. In this scene, we were asked to experiment with waves and water streams, but also with roads.

Snow Peaks

Snow Peaks

Role: Level Artist, Level Designer, Lighting, FX

This project was done in a day for my advanced environment class at NAD. The whole scene was made in the software Vue and Worldmachine. In this scene, we were asked to experiment with procedural mountains, snowy textures, and snowfall effects.

Tundra Plateau
